Omix Therapies provides a number of services to treat, diagnose, and improve clients affected by autism.  To address autism, our speech therapists implement social skills groups, ABA, homeopathy, ST, OT services, and psychological testing.

Social skills groups are conducted to help individuals improve peer-to-peer interactions.  They involve activities like speech practice, instruction, and role-playing. A teacher coordinates the activities and develops the skills needed to promote interaction with peers. It targets autism by promoting communication skills such as building friendships, conversation, problem-solving, emotional recognition, theory, and perspective.

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is a recommended method of treating individuals with autism. ABA creates positive improvements in behavior. Numerous techniques have been formulated to help treated clients build skills essential for communication. They can include classroom lessons and social interaction applications.
